About.

The development of students as self-reflecting and processional individuals is the purpose of this course, as it will provide them with an ability to meet the expectations of employers in this creative sector, as employers are looking for individuals who can quickly adapt to constantly changing world.

This program is suitable for individuals who are really interested, committed and have the skills in visual arts’ wide areas. Students will have an opportunity to focus on higher skills development in arts, design and craft context.

Individuals with passion for art can use this program as an opportunity to land into careers of their dream. It is for students who would like to improve or gain the skills that make art, and these skills include drawing, painting, paint making and photography. In this course, there is an involvement of pursuit of visual languages and imagery that holds a particular meaning or significance to the person who has drawn or designed it.

This is a two year program, and it provides the students with an opportunity to get national recognition thus boosting the chances of their successful career. The aim of this course is to provide the students with an opportunity to develop and grow their knowledge and skills that will land them into a successful career.

Progression.

After completing this degree, students will have an opportunity to progress and be a bachelor degree holders by studying for one additional year at various universities in the UK. Student can also choose to work for different organizations.

Career opportunities.

This course is ideal for those students who would like to develop a career in various graphic design stands including magazines, newspapers, websites, publishing, arts administration, art gallery, art education, photography, professional art, graphics designing and branding agencies. Graduates can either be hired to work in/for large and small media house or they can open their own studios. Additionally, they can work in schools or organizations, working as advertisers.

Entry requirements:

• Applicants should be 18 and over years old.
• Those applying have to submit a proof of prior certified learning documents such as secondary school diploma or level 3 qualification.
• Applicants must undergo a compulsory interview with the college during registration.
• Those applying must come with their original certificates on registration day.
• Those applying but they do not have English as their first language will have to demonstrate an approved proficiency level in English language use.
