About.
When one enters into a professional law environment, it means he/she has entered in a working situation that demands success levels that are very high. When a student is having a level 5 HND, in business law, he/she can kick off his/her future career via comprehensive study and practical and real-world working experience. This course aim to develop and in-depth business knowledge law as well as a firm grasp of business environment.
This course is ideal for students that are having hopes of working in management and business roles having a particular interest in the legal elements. This course gives students the opportunity for completing specialists’ studies that have a direct relationship with job roles.
Students will learn about wide range of subjects such as small business enterprise, company law and legal system in the UK. In second year, students will develop and complete a project using their own individual expertise and skills gained in the course. It encourage the students to develop the skills required for evaluation and interpretation of concepts and principles that underpin business law in a wide range of contexts.
By studying this course, students gain an opportunity of becoming well versed in the necessary disciplines that are required to pursue career careers in professions related to business and legal sectors. Students will have the support they need to develop key business skills that understand the nature of business regulation and legal risks, networking, problem-solving, meeting skills and written or oral skills of communication.
Progression.
After completing this degree, students will have an opportunity to progress and be a bachelor degree holders by studying for one additional year. They will choose to pursue either business or law programs as this will depend on their interest. Additionally, some graduates can use this program to enter into a specialist employment area in the sector, and the students are likely to work towards the professional membership.
Career opportunities.
This pathway is a consideration of English legal system, with a specific relationship with business, laws of competition practices and the impacts they have on business, law principles and the European Union legislation impacts. After completing this course, one can find himself/herself in either private of public sector in legal sections.
Entry requirements:
- Applicants should be 18 and over years old.
- Those applying have to submit a proof of prior certified learning documents such as secondary school diploma or level 3 qualification.
- Applicants must undergo a compulsory interview with the college during registration.
- Those applying must come with their original certificates on registration day.
- Those applying but they do not have English as their first language will have to demonstrate an approved proficiency level in English language use.
