    The qualification enables a learner to have a range of skills that are tailored to the development needs of a personal career. The learner will select from units that cover administration and business, ITQ, customer service, management, human resources, finance and tem leading.

    The qualification is appropriate for those that are beginners in the role of business skills and also can help one to specialize in various sectors within IT, finance and business.

    THE INVOLVEMENTS OF STUDYING THE COURSE

    The business qualification covers all the necessary skills and also offers several options including:

    Finance

    Customer service

    Team leading

    Learning takes place from a work environment.

    Assessment is done in the work environment and it includes an evidence portfolio to meet the standards of the qualification. Evidence can be in form of e-observation, production work and professional discussions.

    Level One

    The level is appropriate for beginners. It focuses on the daily customer service and administrative tasks like answering the phone, filing and communicating in an effective manner.

    Level Two

    This is appropriate for those that are going up the ladder of career to develop special skills. It concentrates on professional responsibilities like solving problems, working effectively in the environment of business and supporting meetings.

    THE INVOLVEMENTS OF STUDYING THE COURSE

    The trainers need assessors that are qualified to assess the course. They can be trained staff members or those recruited specifically.

    There will be need for suitable resources and facilities for training and attainment of industry requirements by learners.

    This is open for anybody but there must be enough resources for all learners that are required to complete the course.

    The course can either be delivered in the workplace of college and those at college will need access to work experience.

    Level Three

    At this level, three qualifications are available:

    Business skills level three award

    Business skills level three certificate

    Business skills level three diploma

    Every qualification has got core and optional units covering areas including:

    Delivering presentations contributing to project running

    Supporting team members in the development, implementation and identification of new ideas
