    This qualification falls under the framework of the Driving Good Vehicles Apprenticeship.

    WHAT IS INVOLVED IN STUDYING THIS COURSE?

    Everyone is allowed to choose the pathway that demonstrates his or her skills as either being a courier or a delivery driver.

    These pathways include:

    • Cycle, and in this case, only level 2 is needed
    • Motorcycle
    • Van
    • Articulated lorry

    City & Guilds will be the main centre for learning, and one must have an access to a vehicle which is appropriate.

    Each student will be assessed by evidence portfolio in every unit.

    Level 2

    One is working as a delivery driver or a courier and he or she possesses some relevant skills and knowledge, and this is usually from a role where one has been supervised.

    Level 3

    This is ideal for the ones who have been in this sector for a long period of time, and they know how this sector operates including driving duties, goods delivery and collection and who want graduate to team-leading, supervision of management.

    POTENTIAL CAREERS

    When one possesses these qualifications, he/ she can become an efficient courier, delivery driver LGV and light goods driver.

    • Certificate of level 3 in Traffic Office
    • Certificate of level 3 in Logistics operations
