    The qualification gives an underpinning knowledge which helps in achieving the hospitality management apprenticeship.

    It gives a clear route of progression for those that have the catering and hospitality level three qualifications and gives both new entrants and existing workforce a chance to continue into further studies.

    The apprenticeship and qualification is aimed at department heads, hospitality managers, head chefs, executive chefs, front house managers, accommodation managers, bar managers and others.

    • Management and leadership in organizations of hospitality
    • Complying with regulatory and legal standards
    • Planning and managing beverage and food operations
    • Food management and safety in catering

    Learning can take place from the workplace or by an appropriate training provider.

    INVOLVEMENTS OF COURSE DELIVERY

    The course is designed for encouraging SSC partners, work based and higher education partners to give a responsive and flexible infrastructure of delivery. The method of assessment includes assignments with the use of realistic evidence and scenarios from the lace of work where it is appropriate. The center devised assignments can be possible too.     Centers have to be fully approved for the qualification.

    Level Four

    This is appropriate for those that are in full-time employment already or those that are progressing from the qualification of level three or those that want to start the level four.

    The method of assessment is assignments.
