    The level two qualification of property maintenance has been developed as a component of trailblazer apprenticeship which is based on the need of employers and is designed for the individuals that want to gain skills and knowledge to do job roles and other tasks that are related to doing general maintenance and effective and safe building management.

    After the learner has completed the qualification, the learner will have attained the standard desired by the industry.

    The level two qualification of property maintenance is for the learners that work in maintenance of property and covers several requirements which includes doing tiling and painting tasks and working with contractors and giving immediate and fast response to faults while ensuring quality and cost effectiveness at the same time.

    THE INVOLVEMENTS OF STUDYING THE COURSE

    When taking the qualification, the learner is taught how to do tasks in a competent and high standard way. Some understanding and knowledge is also given around the tasks. Once the learner becomes confident that he or she possess the skills, a practical assessment is completed which is provided by guilds and city in the guide and the assessor assess it. There are even questions revolving around the knowledge gained and practical assignments.

    The apprenticeship is acknowledged by the Facilities Management British Institute which gives associates membership for studying the apprentice. The Facilities Management British Institute has confirmed the learning materials and resources that are appropriate and are available to support the learners and the trainers.

    The training provider or employer signs an achievement record that confirms that the apprentice has attained the standard requirements of the qualification. This enables the apprentice to access the guilds and city assessment and property maintenance.
