The diploma is offered through the Alliance of Construction Awards and covers several construction trades like painting, plastering, stone masonry, trowel work, roof work and decorating.

To get the construction diploma, learning will take place in groups with the provider of training. Knowledge and skills are developed through hand work, practicals and sessions which cover the background and theory knowledge.
The assessment is through multiple answer tests, course work, online tests and practical assignments.
Level One
This is for those that are beginners in construction and need skills to help them do routine activities.
Level Two
This is for those that possess basic construction skills and want to increase the skills to be more responsible and handle more complicated tasks of construction.
Level Three
This is for those that have been in the industry for some time and want to further develop their skills to do more advanced tasks of construction or even do the supervisory responsibilities.
