This qualification falls under nail services Occupational Standards, and the leading professional bodies such as The British Association of Beauty Therapy and Occupation (BABTAC) and Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) recognizes this qualification as being fit for purpose for preparing learners for a career as a junior nail technician.

English language that is of good standard, as it will allow for study and competence of the on line examinations.

This course focuses on the development of practical skills and knowledge in:
Nail enhancement- this will be focusing on how to safely prepare natural nails, correct blending and application of natural nail tips, fiberglass application and fiberglass system removal. The introduction to acrylic and gel applications will be there.

Services and products promotion.
Provision of reception duties.
Skin, nails, bones, muscles and circulatory systems’ anatomy and physiology.
A portfolio of evidence will need to be built by students, and also, the students will be required to provide a model for practical assessment.
Duration and delivery.
This course will take 10 weeks to be complete, being delivered part-time to fit one’s life.
Theory exams are ICT based, and this means that the assessment will take place online. There is also practical based assessments.

Advance nail technology program of study, level 3 diploma.
One will need to have stationary such as x2 folders and clip board. One will also require to have nail technologies kit and will have to purchase a uniform.
