The qualifications is for those individuals that are 16 years or above and are working or want to be employed in the industry of construction and specialize in the field of decorating and painting.
The qualification is for the people that want to learn skills like decorating a painting and continue to be skilled in the areas they have selected or continue to apprenticeship and become master craftsmen.
There are sample tests that are provided to enable the learners and tutors to have the look and experience of e-volve before they sit for the exam and experience the style and type of questions which are tested in the exam.
The units covered in sample tests are:
Level one building construction, communication and information principles
Level two welfare, safety and health in construction
Level two building construction, communication and information principles
Level three planning, pricing and organizing construction work
Level One
The qualification of level one enables a learner to develop, practice and learn the skills that are needed for employment or progression in the career of decoration and painting.
DIPLOMA LEVEL ONE DECORATING AND PAINTING
Level Two
Level two is good for those that have some basic knowledge or skills in decorating and painting maybe from a role they had held before being supervised. This is for those that want to be recognized for their skills and have a chance to take more responsibilities.
The qualification covers the following:
Dismantling and erecting equipment of access and platforms of work.
Preparation of decoration services
Application of paint by rollers and brushes
Application of foundation and applying plain papers
Reduction of special decorative finishing
Creating and applying color
The extended diploma is used as a component of apprenticeship for the individuals that are beginners in trade of construction and are aged 16 years. The colleges should use handbooks for both level one and two that has all the units for the diploma that is extended.
Level three
The level three is appropriate for those that have worked in the industry of construction and have got a lot of experience. It is for those that their work revolves around supervising and management of resources. The individuals that want to develop their skills and have a senior position with more responsibilities.

Dismantling and erecting equipment of access and platforms of work.
Application of hangings to ceilings and walls
Production of specialist finishes for decorative work and paintings
Production of special architecture finishing decorative work
Application paint system using equipment that are airless
Application of paint using low pressure and high volume spray equipment
