FREE VTCT LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE IN WOMEN’S HAIRDRESSING COURSES.
The aim of this qualification is to prepare one for a career as a junior hairdresser/stylist. Learners who are 16 and over are fit for this qualification, and they will have the support getting employment hairdressers/stylists, as this qualification is having units that are covering all skills and knowledge required in this role. One can enter into this qualification via previous achievement of level one hairdressing qualification or via successful skills test and interview.

The following will be covered;
Throughout this qualification, the learner will develop his/her knowledge and understanding of safety and health, anatomy, the products, tools and equipment. The learner will also develop a range of technical skills that will enable him/her to effectively consult with clients, shampoo and condition cut and hair finishing. One will also develop interpersonal skills that, and these skills will help him/her to effectively communicate with clients.
A model for practical assessments will have to be provided by students, and in addition, they will be required to build an evidence portfolio.
Duration and delivery.
This is a 10-week course, and it is a part-time delivery.
Assessment methods.
Exams are theory and practical. The theory exams are done online via ICT.
Further study and career options.
State Registered Hairdresser (SRH) with The Hairdressing Council is a destination for learners who complete the qualification.

The requirements include x2 folders, clip board, a kit and one will have to purchase a uniform.
It is good to note that one don’t have to pay for the course if he/she is 19-23 years old, and if this is the first level 2 qualification, or if one is above 23 years old, unemployed and receiving either JSA or Universal Credit. If one is not receiving any of these, we can pay the course fee for him/her. However, she has to agree to sign up for L3 course with us (funded by student finance) after completing level two.
