Level Two

Level Three
This is for those that have got a level two qualification in tourism and travel services or a lot of experience in the job. Those that have an interest to have a leadership role that is more responsible.

THE INVOLVEMENTS OF THE COURSE DELIVERY
For one to qualify to deliver the qualification, he or she has to have qualified assessors. The internal members can be trained or they can be recruited specially. The candidate performance’s evidence is delivered by the observation of the assessor or testimony from a witness expert of the learner doing activities in the place of work.
The trainer has to make sure that learners can access resources and learn in an environment that allows them to build their knowledge to attain the standards of the industry; for instance, working in a tourist center or travel agency.
No requirements are needed for the NVQ but the trainers must make sure that the learners have got an opportunity and potential to gain the evidence required to qualify in the place of work.
Level Two
This is for those that are new in the industry of tourism and travel and want to acquire skills to help them improve in their jobs and have a foundation so as to proceed to qualification level 3.
Diplomas and certificates are available in this level and they require that you complete three units that are mandatory:
- Give the clients or customers an impression that is positive about the organization and yourself
- Ensure accountability for every taken action to reduce safety and health risks
- Maintain and develop the work effectiveness at the place of work in the tourism and travel environment.
To achieve the NVQ diploma level two in the travel services, one chooses to specialize in one of the following:
- Business and leisure
- Tour operators for the field
- Tour operators for the office
