The qualification will enable the learner to build specialist skills and knowledge like:

Level One
This is for the individuals that have no or have little experience in the industry and want to understand tourism and travel work sector. Candidates develop, learn and acquire the skills needed to progress in career or be employed.

The learners can proceed to the following qualifications which are related:
- Diploma/Certificate/Award level two in tourism and travel
- NVQ Diploma level two in travel services
- NVQ Diploma level two in tourism services
THE INVOLVEMENTS OF THE COURSE DELIVERY
- For one to qualify to deliver the qualification, he or she has to have qualified assessors. The internal members can be trained or they can be recruited specially.
- The trainer has to make sure that learners can access resources and learn in an environment that allows them to build their knowledge to attain the standards of the industry.
- No requirements are needed for the NVQ but the trainers must make sure that the learners have got an opportunity and potential to gain the evidence required to qualify in the place of work.
Level One

The three qualifications in this level include:
- Tourism and Travel Industry Introduction Award.
- Tourism and Travel Industry Introduction Certificate
- Tourism and Travel Industry Introduction Diploma
There are compulsory and optional units. The compulsory include:
- UK industry of Travel
- UK industry of Tourism
- Customer Service in Tourism and Travel
- Geography Location
