About.

This course aims to provide the student with a wide variety insights of what constitutes wellbeing in a manner that they will be able to critically appraise a research and policy that is related to health. Students will be enabled by this program to build a career in health and social care in roles such as patient advice and project manager.

Its aim is to enhance the students’ professional careers by helping them in developing greater awareness of factors that should be addressed in the place of work in order to ensure that the social and health wellbeing of clients, patients and residents has been improved.

This course will provide the students with an insight understanding of health and provision of health care from perspectives that are different including gender, age and culture.

Students will gain and develop the skills that will help them in interpretation, retrieval and use of data, information and evidence in order to underpin their health’s understanding and the impacts it has on people’s lives.

On completing this course, students will have the knowledge needed to conduct an analysis on factors that affect health as a contested concept.

Entry requirements:

• This course is ideal for applicants that hold a level 5 qualification such as higher national diploma or other equivalent. In addition, applicants must have to have competed the second year of degree that is relevant and comparable.
• Should be a holder of foundation degree or higher national diploma with a compatible syllabus that has a relationship with this course.
• Those applying but they do not have English as their first language will have to demonstrate an approved proficiency level in English language use.
• Qualifications have to be checked by the institution where he/she is applying before he/she is allowed to enroll.
• When coming for registration, students are urged to bring their original diploma, and this is a compulsory requirement
