the residential childcare diploma in level five and the management and leadership for residential childcare level five diploma are the newest qualifications which are built to assist the learners who want to working the management or care role in and an environment of residential childcare and have not achieved any related qualification previously. Learners that want to work in the field of residential childcare should make a registration of the diplomas.
The learners who are currently doing the young people and children workforce diploma level three and leadership in social and healthcare for young people and children diploma level five shall keep on with the qualification. There will be no need to change to the new qualification.
The providers that are currently offering the young people and children workforce diploma level three and leadership in social and healthcare for young people and children diploma level five shall get automatic approval to deliver the new qualification.
The qualification is targeted at the learners who want to be employed in England residential childcare in either management or care role.
