The Care Diploma level two and adult is a qualification that is competence based which is built with care skills, health skills in and in consultation the companies that give health services care.
It is build to support the element of on-program of adult care workers England apprenticeship standard and this qualification is a must in the adult care standard of a worker and covers skills and knowledge that are needed to be employed in a position of adult care in several settings and support people with various needs.
Also, this qualification can be applied as an option to support the delivery of the element of the apprenticeship standard of the support worker of healthcare even though it is not a core requirement of the worker apprenticeship of healthcare support.

Level Three
This qualification is aimed at the workers of adult care, key workers and support workers in several setting of adult care. The qualification has to be both outside and within the standard of an apprenticeship. This qualification is developed in a manner that means that very learner has to complete several mandatory units, content that is needed across all the roles of adult care.
Also, there are several optional units that support the areas where one has specialized which include:
Dementia care
Domiciliary care
End life care
Residential care
Services of learning disability
The qualification needs that learners get 58 credits whereby 28 are from the core units and 30 are from optional units.
The three optional groups are:
Group B units that are competence based where a minimum of q2 must be chosen from the group
Group C which is knowledge based units Group D units Level two where earners get a maximum of 8 credits
There is no entry requirement to select from C and group S and therefore all the units that are optional can come from B.
THE CAREERS THAT THIS CAN LEAD TO
This qualification gives a structured learning program and an assessment to enable a learner to show competence in the role of adult care.
Learners can continue to a qualification or an apprenticeship like Diploma Level Four in care or practitioner in apprenticeship of adult care; or into a level five qualification or apprenticeship in management and leadership in adult care as long as they are in a job role that is suitable.
