About.

Additionally, this demand is increasing due to increased pressure caused in hospitals, health centers, care centers, as they are required to address diverse and complex needs for different patients. This course is ideal for individuals who would like to pursue and specialize a career sector of health and social care. The aim of this program is to create health experts that have a thorough understanding of social and health care services management.

This course builds on skills and knowledge that students developed during HNC, and the students are given the advanced preparations if they want to follow a career in social and health care. This course is designed in a manner that will make the students understand and know what is required for one to be a successful employee, as this course gives them the skills and knowledge that will meet the increasing healthcare sector demands.

This course will provide the students with thorough grounding in the practical and key concepts that are required in health sector. This diploma strongly emphasizes on development of practical skills as well as development of knowledge that this sector needs.

The aim of this program is to equip the students with the underpinning, skills, knowledge and understanding that will boost their employment chances in health and social care sector, and can work in the UK or in foreign countries.

Progression.

After completing this degree, students will have an opportunity to progress and be a bachelor degree holders by studying for one additional year at various universities in the UK, and choose any course that has a relationship with health care including nursing. Graduates can also work as nurse in different care centers.

Career opportunities.

There is a wide variety of career opportunities that a graduates can choose from including management and supervision roles. After completing this course, graduates can work as care home managers, health center managers, midwives, paramedics and public health officers.

Entry requirements:

• Applicants should be 18 and over years old.
• Those applying have to submit a proof of prior certified learning documents such as secondary school diploma or level 3 qualification.
• Applicants must undergo a compulsory interview with the college during registration.
• Those applying must come with their original certificates on registration day.
• Those applying but they do not have English as their first language will have to demonstrate an approved proficiency level in English language use.
