At a level that is higher, the qualification can provide a learner with everything they need to help in a busy hospital or surgery department. They can even assist to move to a management role that is senior in the sector of healthcare.
One can acquire the skills that are necessary to manage staff, process resources of healthcare and communicate effectively.
Qualification in medical administration is suitable if a person has an interest in an administration career. The course is also for individuals that work as medical or general administrators and want to advance in their career. The aspiring and existing managers that are working already or those that want to start working in social, health and primary care can also take the qualification to go into senior roles of management like hospital managers of departments.

THE INVOLVEMENTS OF COURSE DELIVERY
Any person can take the qualification but the learners have to have an opportunity and potential to do it
At levels that are higher, learners should have experience in the health sector and have level three qualifications with good written and spoken English.
Depending on the selected units, assessment will be done through assignments, external tests, electronic assignments and evidence portfolio.
For the centers delivering diplomas and certificates in primary care, automatic approval is provided.

Level Five
This is for those that have experience and knowledge in working in the environment of healthcare
This level has two qualifications:
Health management and primary care certificate in level five
Health management and primary care diploma in level five
Both the longer diploma and shorter certificate have got core and optional units.
The core units are:
Management of legal requirements and medical ethics
Budgeting and financial management in healthcare and primary care environment
Managing communication and information in health care and primary care
Leading teams
The optional units are:
Development of management as critical thinkers
Becoming leaders that are effective
Management for effectiveness and efficiency
Management of recruitment
