About.
This course aims to introduce the learners into different photographical disciplines and thus allowing them to into aspect of photography industry of their choice. This program is suitable for school leavers who are looking to be part of the industry or those whose dreams are to study photography at the university. This course is ideal for students who would like to be photographers in various strands including photojournalism, fashion, documentary, fine art advertising and editorial.
This course is designed in a manner that it will develop the students’ knowledge and skills that will offer them an opportunity to progress to university or find employment, and it is ideal for individuals who would like to pursue careers in the sector of photography. We have a vocational programs that will make the students develop keen business grounding as well as providing visual awareness and up-to date practical skills.
This course puts its emphasis on the creative photography use across different subject areas. This course encourages the students to explore the contemporary photographic practices, and it includes contextual and critical studies. In this course, there is investigation of traditional techniques of photography as well as manipulation of digital images. This course provides the students with vocational skills through professional studies units and integrated business practice.
Progression.
After completing this degree, students will have an opportunity to progress and be a bachelor degree holders by studying for one additional year at various universities in the UK. Student can also choose to work for different organizations.

This course is ideal for students who would like to be photographers in various strands including photojournalism, fashion, documentary, fine art advertising and editorial. Graduates can be self-employed professional photographers. Alternatively, they can be hired as photographer by different organizations whose work involve photograph. They can work as photojournalists, fashion photographers, fashion designers, website managers, social media pages managers and sports photographer.
Entry requirements:
- Applicants should be 18 and over years old.
- Those applying have to submit a proof of prior certified learning documents such as secondary school diploma or level 3 qualification.
- Applicants must undergo a compulsory interview with the college during registration.
- Those applying must come with their original certificates on registration day.
- Those applying but they do not have English as their first language will have to demonstrate an approved proficiency level in English language use.
