Catering and Hospitality – Food Studies Courses
Level one and level two entry qualifications are made for the learners that have physical and learning difficulties. The skills associated with presenting, preparing and choosing are assessed. When combined with other skills, they make a learner develop some increased independence level.
The qualifications are objected at a broad market and will assist in fulfilling some government agendas that include social exclusion and widening participation and the agenda of the 14 to 16 year olds.
THE INVOLVEMENTS OF STUDYING THE COURSE
A learner is allowed to select the qualification which shows the skills and knowledge they possess like:
Learning can take place from a classroom or workplace environment.
Assessment is done through written exams, evidence portfolio and practical.
The qualifications of entry level are appropriate for learners that have got no experience and do not have confidence regarding their abilities. Level one and two entries are for learners that have learning and physical disabilities.

INVOLVEMENTS OF COURSE DELIVERY
For one to qualify to deliver the course, he or she needs qualified staff for assessment and training.
There will be need for suitable resources and facilities for training and attainment of industry requirements by learners.
This is open for anybody but there must be enough resources for all learners that are required to complete the course.
Entry One
This is appropriate for you if you possess physical and learning disabilities and need to improve and develop your ability to cook and prepare individual food while learning in the industry of catering.
